Microsoft chief executive Satya Nadella has referred to Windows as a “socket” for Windows services, and while it’s fair to say that the company is prioritizing Windows 11, Microsoft loves subscription revenue even more. Yes, Windows 11 does offer some exclusive new apps, but not that many.
