It turns out one has to not only have a Plex online 'account', but one has to be logged in there, and then the UI works. Popping that and opening PLEX, nothing happened. The other problem, more of a small annoyance, is that when first run nothing showed up on the Win7 Taskbar except a tray icon. No such problem with Serviio, flawless in that regard. Or maybe it's a result of the Plex program insisting on a libraries and playlist model, like iTunes, instead of being user-folders oriented.
